During the October 2023 Public Power Week (PPW) celebration, GPA served as a sponsor for the Special Olympics Guam (SOGU) 2023 Softball Championship Jamboree.
The event took place on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Dededo Softball Field. GPA employees were present to cheer and support the athletes during their games.

GPA Assistant General Manager of Administration (AGMA) Ms. Tricee Limtiaco delivered the Opening Remarks to kick-off the days event.
After the jamboree games were completed, SOGU athletes were presented with awards. GPA Assistant General Manager of Operations (AGMO) Ms. Jennifer Sablan participated in the awards ceremony by presenting medals to the athletes.

To close the event, GPA employees handled the food distribution line by passing out bento boxes, fresh fruits and snacks to all athletes and their families
