As a part of the 2024 Public Power Week (PPW) celebration, Guam Power Authority (GPA) continued its tradition of organizing community-focused events to support local non-profit organizations.
One of this year's PPW community initiatives included a Toy Drive benefitting the children at Alee Shelter to help brighter their holiday season. GPA employees hosted the month-long toy drive from September 18 to October 18, 2024.

On October 22, 2024, GPA employees delivered boxes of holiday gifts filled with over 627 toys to Alee Shelter Guam officials at the Catholic Social Service office in Barrigada.  The delivery included a wide variety of children's toys for all age groups including brand new dolls, clothing, sports equipment, puzzles, books, arts and craft supplies, remote-controlled cars, board games, blocks, figurines, stuffed animals, scooters, technology items, and more. GPA also donated energy-related activity books for the children.
