Guam Power Authority (GPA) participated in The Office of Guam Homeland Security and the Office of Civil Defense (OHS-OCD)'s National Preparedness Month Grand Finale. This event took place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Agana Shopping Center. This year's theme was "Preparedness Starts at Home," which highlighted the importance of getting back to the essentials of preparedness. 

GPA Safety, T&D and Communications personnel were present at the GPA information booth. Safety and Communications staff engaged customers with safety guides and handouts, illustrating electrical safety and how power is restored after tropical storms and typhoons. T&D showcased different Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they use to stay safe while working on the power lines or other power infrastructure. They also explained the importance of reporting downed power lines.
