On February 09, 2024, GPA presented to over 120 students at P.C. Lujan Elementary School (PCLES) which consisted of Headstart, 4th and 5th grade students.

T&D linemen crew members Raymond Torres, Beau Mesa, and Joseph Pereda discussed how to use their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and how they properly safeguard themselves when working on the power lines. The T&D crew also demonstrated how to properly ascend in a bucket truck.

Chanel Jarrett from HR discussed the various careers paths, apprenticeships and internships offered by GPA. GPA’s Communications Office personnel shared energy-saving tips with students to highlight the ongoing Beat the Peak campaign.

The GPA team provided PCLES students with energy-themed activity books and coloring materials.
